VMWare Guest Machines Slow Or Jerky Mouse
This is a common problem, but a very simple one to fix. The main symptom is a jerky mouse that seems to move in big steps about once a second.
The problem is caused by hardware acceleration on the graphics card not being enabled. Here's how to fix it:
Windows 2003 Server or Windows XP
1) Right click the desktop and choose Properties
2) Select the settings tab
3) Now hit the Advanced button
4) Select the troubleshooting tab
5) Now move the slider next to Hardware Acceleration as far to the right as it will go "Full"
